The Men of Hosanna are planning on filling shoe boxes with
personal hygiene items and treats for the Seafarer’s center in Houston as
we do in December each year. Last year we didn’t meet to fill boxes due to
Covid – 19 but instead sent money to the Chaplain’s fund. This year in 2021 we
are planning to meet sometime during the month of December, date to be
announced later. We will be doing our fundraiser for this event during the
month of September. You can support the fundraiser anytime this year. Just
make out a check to: MEN OF HOSANNA and mail it to Bob McConnell at 1006
Baltic Ln., Houston, TX 77090. Bob will make a record of the donation and
advise the Financial Secretary, Heda Christ of your donation so that you
credited on your annual statement.

Yes, we need empty shoe boxes to use as containers for the Seafarer’s
gifts. Just put the empty boxes on the Men’s card signing table in the North
Narthex and Bob will collect them. We are forming Thrivent Action Teams to
