Our synod’s group for retired leaders and spouses is getting back together for lunch on September 24 after a pandemic hiatus. The September luncheon will be hosted by Pr. Kathy Haueisen and her spouse,Tom Brandino, at the Blue Agave Cantina in West Houston. The Blue Agave has reserved their covered back patio for the luncheon. Participants should be vaccinated. The group of rostered and retired Gulf Coast Synod leaders and spouses has been meeting for years. Monthly luncheons are somewhere in southeast Texas on the fourth Friday of each month. The group is always changing as new retirees join in. Retired pastors, deacons and spouses — singles or couples — are welcome! Pastors Kathy Haueisen and David Roschke are currently the coordinators.
