Serving God, Changing Lives

Women’s Interfaith Quilting

The women of Hosanna Lutheran church is hosting an interfaith quilting session in the Fellowship Hall. This can easily be done by anyone who can tie a knot! It is a good chance to work side-by-side with people of other faiths, and get to know them better. After the quilts are finished, Hosanna will provide a light lunch. Please bring friends. Just RSVP to Nancy Agafitei by e-mail (nancy.agafitei@gmail.com) or by text (713-419-0465) so that we can plan for enough food and supplies. Thanks to Thrivent Financial for providing Action Team dollars to fund the supplies and meal.

To add another element of service to this event, we will have a “shower” for the Hope Center, a day center for the homeless where some of our members volunteer. If you can, bring one or more of these items that will be donated to the center:

Men’s jeans, new or gently used, especially sizes 28- 34.

Men’s shoes sizes 9 and up. Gently worn is fine!

New underwear for men or women.

New or gently used pairs of socks.
